  • 1 package (14.4 oz) graham crackers Honey-flavored graham crackers provide a nice sweet touch.
  • 2 packages (3.4 oz each) vanilla instant pudding mix Whisk with milk until smooth.
  • 2 cups milk Whole milk is recommended for richer flavor.
  • 1 container (8 oz) whipped topping, thawed Can be replaced with well-whipped cream.
  • 1.5 cups fresh strawberries, sliced Fresh and juicy strawberries are essential.
  • 1/4 cup powdered sugar Optional, for garnish.

Preparation

  • In a mixing bowl, combine the vanilla pudding mix and milk, whisking until smooth.
  • Gently fold in the whipped topping until fully combined.
  • In a 9x13 pan, place a layer of graham crackers on the bottom.
  • Spread half of the pudding mixture over the graham crackers.
  • Arrange half of the sliced strawberries on top of the pudding layer.
  • Repeat the layers with the remaining graham crackers, pudding, and strawberries.
  • Top with a final layer of graham crackers.
  • Cover with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 4 hours, preferably overnight.
  • Before serving, dust with powdered sugar if desired.

Notes

This dessert can be customized with various fruits; try blueberries or peaches! Make sure to allow plenty of chill time for the best flavor and texture.
