Ingredients
  

For the Steak Fajitas

  • 1 lb beef steak, sliced into strips Use a tender cut for best results.
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon butter Adds richness to the flavor.
  • 1 small onion, sliced
  • 1 red bell pepper, sliced
  • 1 yellow bell pepper , sliced
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon cumin (optional) For added flavor.

For the Crispy Fries

  • 3 medium potatoes, cut into fries Russet potatoes work best.
  • to taste Salt For seasoning after frying.
  • Oil for frying or baking Choose your preferred method.

For the Salad

  • 2 cups lettuce, chopped
  • 1 cucumber, sliced
  • 1 cup cherry tomatoes, halved
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil for salad
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • to taste Salt and pepper For seasoning.

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Soak the potato strips in cold water for 20 minutes.
  • Drain and pat the potatoes dry.
  • In a mixing bowl, toss the steak strips with salt, black pepper, paprika, garlic powder, and cumin.

Cooking

  • For fries: Heat oil for frying or preheat the oven to 425°F and prepare the baking sheet.
  • Fry the potato strips until golden brown and crispy, or bake until crisp and cooked through.
  • In a large skillet, heat olive oil and butter over medium-high heat.
  • Sear the seasoned steak strips until browned.
  • Add the sliced onion and bell peppers, cooking until slightly tender.
  • Toss all ingredients to combine flavors and remove from heat.

Salad Preparation

  • In a bowl, mix lettuce, cucumber, and cherry tomatoes.
  • Drizzle with olive oil and lemon juice, then season to taste.

Serving

  • Serve the sizzling steak fajitas hot with crispy fries and the fresh salad on the side.

Notes

For crispy fries, soak potatoes and heat oil properly before frying. Leftovers reheat well; use an oven for best results.
