Ingredients
  

Pasta

  • 1 lb bowtie pasta Perfect shape for holding the creamy sauce.

Chicken

  • 2 lbs chicken breast, sliced into thick strips Use high protein for a satisfying meal.

Cooking Fat

  • 2 tablespoons olive oil For searing the chicken.
  • 8 tablespoons butter, divided Adds richness to the dish.

Garlic and Spices

  • 10 cloves garlic, minced, divided Be cautious while cooking; can turn bitter if burnt.
  • 2 teaspoons red pepper flakes, divided Adjust to taste for spice level.
  • 1 teaspoon smoked paprika Adds depth of flavor.
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1.5 teaspoons salt, divided To taste.
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper, divided To taste.

Dairy

  • 2 cups heavy cream For a rich creamy texture.
  • 1 cup whole milk
  • 2 cups shredded mozzarella
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan
  • 4 oz cream cheese, softened

Garnish

  • 3 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped For garnish.

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Boil a large pot of salted water and cook the bowtie pasta according to package instructions until al dente, about 10-12 minutes. Drain and set aside.
  • Season the chicken slices with smoked paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, 1 teaspoon of red pepper flakes, 1 teaspoon of salt, and 1/2 teaspoon of black pepper.

Cooking Chicken

  • In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium-high heat. Add the chicken and sear for about 3 minutes on each side until golden brown.
  • Remove the chicken from the pan and set aside.

Making the Sauce

  • Lower the heat to medium, add 4 tablespoons of butter and half of the minced garlic, cooking until fragrant.
  • Add the remaining butter, minced garlic, and red pepper flakes to the skillet.
  • Pour in the heavy cream and whole milk, gently simmering before whisking in the cream cheese until smooth.
  • Gradually stir in mozzarella and Parmesan until melted and thick.

Combining and Serving

  • Add the cooked bowtie pasta to the sauce and toss until coated.
  • Return the chicken to the skillet, mix until heated through, and serve topped with fresh parsley.

Notes

Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to three days. Reheat with a splash of milk.
