Instructions

Preparation

  • Dice the onion and gather the spices. Having everything prepped makes the cooking process fly by.

Cooking

  • In a large skillet over medium heat, add the ground beef and onion. Cook until the meat is browned, and the onions are soft.
  • Drain excess grease and stir in the onion powder, garlic powder, bouillon powder, and pasta sauce. Allow the mixture to simmer for a few minutes.
  • In a separate saucepan, melt the butter over low heat. Pour in the heavy cream and whisk until combined. Gradually stir in the parmesan cheese until you reach a smooth, creamy texture.

Assembly and Baking

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Spread a thin layer of meat sauce in a baking dish. Layer half of the ravioli, followed by half of the cream sauce, and then add the remaining ravioli on top.
  • Top with the remaining cream sauce and meat sauce, then sprinkle the mozzarella cheese evenly across the top.
  • Cover the baking dish with foil and bake for about 30 minutes. Remove the foil and bake for an additional 10 minutes until it’s bubbly and golden on top.
  • Allow it to sit for about 5 minutes. Garnish with fresh parsley before serving.

Notes

For best results, keep the heat low when making the cream sauce to avoid curdling. You can also customize this recipe with extra veggies or alternate cheeses.
