  • 1 tbsp teriyaki sauce
  • 1 tbsp oyster sauce
  • 1 tsp sesame oil
  • 1 tsp cornstarch
  • 1 tbsp water

Additional Ingredients

  • 1 tbsp butter Adds flavor when cooking shrimp.
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced Provides essential flavor.

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Season the chicken with salt, black pepper, garlic powder, and paprika.
  • In a skillet, heat the oil over medium-high heat.

Cooking Chicken

  • Once hot, add the chicken pieces and cook until golden brown on all sides, about 5-7 minutes.

Cooking Shrimp

  • Add butter and shrimp to the skillet. Cook until shrimp are pink, approximately 2-3 minutes.
  • Stir in minced garlic and cook for 30 seconds until fragrant.

Making the Sauce

  • In a separate bowl, whisk together soysauce, honey, brown sugar, teriyaki sauce, oyster sauce, sesame oil, cornstarch, and water until smooth.
  • Pour the sauce into the skillet and allow to simmer until thickened.

Frying Rice

  • In another skillet, heat oil and add cooked rice and scrambled eggs. Stir until warm and slightly crispy.

Combining

  • Serve chicken and shrimp mixture over fried rice.

Garnishing

  • Garnish with sliced green onions if desired.

Notes

Ensure the rice is cold to avoid clumping. Experiment with sweetness in the sauce and consider add-ins like seasonal vegetables for variation.
