For the Frosting

  • 4 cups powdered sugar For sweetness; adjust to taste.
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract For flavoring the frosting.

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • Line the cupcake pan with cupcake liners.
  • In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, sugar, cocoa powder, baking soda, and salt.
  • In another bowl, combine the oil, buttermilk, eggs, vanilla, and green food coloring.
  • Gradually fold the wet mixture into the dry ingredients until just combined.

Baking

  • Bake for 18-20 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.

Frosting
