Instructions

Preparation

  • Lightly grease your slow cooker or pan with non-stick spray or butter.
  • Toss in the bite-sized chicken pieces evenly.
  • Drizzle olive oil over the chicken and sprinkle salt, black pepper, and Italian seasoning to coat.
  • Add butter and minced garlic on top of the chicken.
  • Pour in chicken broth and heavy cream, and stir gently without disturbing the chicken.
  • Cover the slow cooker and set on low for about 4 to 5 hours.

Cooking

  • Once the chicken is tender, mix in the Velveeta and cream cheese until melted and smooth.
  • Stir in mozzarella and Parmesan cheese until thick and creamy.
  • While the sauce thickens, cook the bowtie pasta according to package instructions, then drain.
  • Toss the drained pasta in the slow cooker with the cheese sauce until coated.
  • Let sit on warm for 10-15 minutes to meld flavors.
  • Serve hot with extra Parmesan on top.

Notes

Use fresh ingredients wherever possible for enhanced flavor. Let the dish rest to thicken the sauce, and feel free to experiment with different cheeses or veggies!
