  • 1 package 20 oz cheese ravioli High-quality ravioli is recommended

Main Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground chicken sausage Lean protein option
  • 1 red bell pepper diced Adds sweetness and color
  • 1 green bell pepper diced Adds color
  • 2 cups heavy cream More cream increases richness
  • 1 cup grated parmesan cheese Freshly grated preferred
  • 1 tbsp Cajun seasoning Adjust based on heat preference
  • 4 cloves garlic Minced, for added flavor

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Cook the ravioli according to package directions in salted water. Drain and set aside.
  • In a large skillet over medium heat, add the ground chicken sausage and cook until browned and fully cooked, breaking it apart with a spatula.
  • Add the diced red and green bell peppers along with the minced garlic. Sauté until the peppers are softened and the garlic is fragrant.

Sauce Creation

  • Pour in the heavy cream and stir to combine. Add the Cajun seasoning and let the sauce simmer for about 3 to 4 minutes until slightly thickened.
  • Stir in the grated parmesan cheese until melted and smooth.

Combine and Serve

  • Gently add the cooked ravioli to the skillet and toss until evenly coated with the creamy sauce. Serve hot with additional parmesan if desired.

Notes

Leftovers are delicious and can be stored in an airtight container for up to three days. Reheat on low with a splash of cream to maintain creaminess.
