Core Privacy Principle: TempMail is designed with privacy as the foundation. We do not require registration, we do not collect personal information, and temporary emails are automatically deleted after 10 minutes.

Personal Information: None

TempMail does not collect any personal information from users. We do not ask for, store, or process:

• Real email addresses
• Phone numbers
• Physical addresses
• Payment information (our service is completely free)
• Account credentials (no accounts are created)
• Social security numbers or government IDs

Temporary Email Data: Transient Only

When you generate a temporary email address through TempMail:

• Email Address: Generated randomly and stored temporarily in your browser's session storage (client-side only)
• Incoming Messages: Received emails are fetched from our mail service provider and displayed in real-time. They are not permanently stored on our servers
• Automatic Deletion: All temporary emails and their contents are automatically deleted after 10 minutes
• No Archive: We do not maintain any archive or backup of temporary emails after deletion

Technical Information: Minimal

For security and service optimization purposes, we may collect minimal technical data:

• IP Addresses: Not logged or stored by TempMail. Our mail service provider may temporarily log IPs for spam prevention
• Browser Type: General browser information for compatibility purposes (not linked to individual users)
• Usage Statistics: Aggregate, anonymized data about service usage (e.g., total emails generated per day) without any user identification

Since we collect virtually no personal information, there is very little to "use." The minimal data we interact with is used solely for:

• Service Delivery: Providing you with temporary email addresses and displaying incoming messages
• Service Improvement: Analyzing aggregate usage patterns to improve performance and user experience
• Security: Preventing abuse, spam, and malicious activity on our platform

Email messages passing through TempMail are:

• Stored temporarily on our mail service provider's servers (Mail.tm)
• Automatically deleted after 10 minutes
• Not backed up or archived in any way
• Never accessible to TempMail staff or administrators

Security Measures

We implement industry-standard security practices:

• HTTPS Encryption: All communication between your browser and our servers is encrypted using SSL/TLS
• Secure API Integration: We use secure connections to our mail service provider
• No Permanent Storage: The absence of long-term data storage is itself a security feature

TempMail integrates with the following third-party services to provide our functionality:

Mail.tm API

We use Mail.tm as our email service provider to generate temporary email addresses and receive messages. Mail.tm:

• Provides the underlying email infrastructure
• Automatically deletes emails after their expiration time
• Has its own privacy policy which you can review at their website
• May collect technical data for security and anti-spam purposes

Tailwind CSS CDN

We use the Tailwind CSS content delivery network for styling. This is a static resource that does not collect personal data.

Google Fonts

We use Google Fonts to display the Inter font family. Google may collect technical information about font requests, but this is not linked to your TempMail usage.

We do not share any personal information with third parties because we don't collect personal information in the first place.

Cookies We Use

TempMail uses minimal cookies and browser storage:

• Session Storage: Used to temporarily store your email address and authentication token during your session. This data is automatically cleared when you close your browser.
• No Tracking Cookies: We do not use cookies for tracking, advertising, or analytics purposes
• No Third-Party Cookies: We do not allow third parties to set cookies on our website for advertising or tracking

Analytics

TempMail does not use Google Analytics, Facebook Pixel, or any other third-party analytics platforms that track individual users. Any usage statistics we collect are:

• Completely anonymous and aggregated
• Not linked to any individual user or session
• Used solely for service improvement

Do Not Track

Your browser may send "Do Not Track" signals. Since we don't track users in the first place, this setting doesn't affect your experience on TempMail. We respect all user privacy preferences by default.

International Data Transfers

Our service operates globally. If you are located in the European Economic Area (EEA), your data may be processed outside the EEA. However, since we store minimal data and delete it within 10 minutes, the risk of international transfer is negligible.
